Paternity Action

The determination of paternity can be emotional and highly strenuous. In Oklahoma, a paternity action can be commenced before the birth of the child; however, it may not be completed until after the child is born.

In a paternity action, the Court will determine the paternity of a child, as well as enter orders regarding custody, visitation, child support, and other support orders.
